Account and data deletion

Your account, your decision. See what is removed and confirm before you delete.

Delete directly in the app

  1. Open Settings → My account.Sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Choose “Delete my account and cloud data”.Read the warning and confirm. Email accounts need the password; Google/Facebook accounts are asked to sign in again.
  3. Wait for completion.The account, cloud backup and that account’s local profile on this device are deleted. No email request or 30-day waiting queue is needed.

What is deleted?

Your Sipply authentication account and its Firestore backup, including water entries, timestamps, goals and goal history. Deleting Sipply does not delete your Google or Facebook account.

A minimal deletion-status marker is retained to block old sessions from recreating backups. It contains no email or water records and has no automatic expiry. Read the retention details.

What needs separate action?

Health Connect exports, other devices’ local copies and Android device backups must be managed separately. Analytics uses separate identifiers and is not automatically erased by account deletion. See the retention section.

Signing out, disabling backup or uninstalling the app does not delete the Sipply account. You can delete individual water entries in History while keeping your account.

App unavailable?

Sign in to your Sipply account, check which account is selected and explicitly confirm permanent deletion.

Sign in to the account you want to delete. Signing in alone does not delete it.

Signing in alone never deletes your account. This page does not run Analytics and does not store passwords or sessions on disk.
